The trades marketing agencies worth knowing in 2026: our ranking
The market for marketing agencies serving UK tradespeople has filled up quickly, and the offers now range from a pay-monthly website to a LinkedIn tender-hunting service. We have ranked eight of the firms a plumber, roofer or builder is most likely to come across this year, using only what each agency publishes about itself.
The shortlist
- Foresite Design · Midlands trades who want a fast site upgrade at a fixed price
- Riley Marketing · Small trades firms wanting a complete lead system for one fixed fee
- Roofing SEO Services (SEO Consultancy Ltd) · Roofers who want one specialist and exclusivity in their town
- The Build Agency (Orbit Lead Generation) · Trades moving from domestic work into commercial tenders
- Leads 4 Local · London trades wanting a priced local SEO retainer
- Digital 4 Trades · North West tradespeople who want a small team without rental contracts
- Websites 4 Trades · Sole traders who want the cheapest credible pay-monthly site
- Market Maestro · Contractors chasing £50k-plus commercial contracts via LinkedIn
What this ranking measures
Three things decide the order. First, whether the agency tells you what it costs before you book a call. Second, whether its services are built for trades rather than adapted from a general agency menu. Third, whether it shows any proof, even anonymised, of work done for trades clients.
We have not weighed agencies by size. Several of the longest-established names in this sector, including One Base Media and JDR Group, appear in our regional round-up and price-transparency ranking rather than here. This list leans towards firms a one or two-van business can realistically afford.
1. Foresite Design
Best for: Midlands trades who want a fast site upgrade at a fixed price
Foresite Design is based in Redditch, Worcestershire, and builds websites for roofers, plumbers, electricians, decorators, landscapers and cleaning firms. According to its website, the emphasis is on page speed and performance scores, with sites designed to drive calls and enquiries rather than win design awards.
Its prices are published as fixed packs: a £449 Enquiry Boost, a £699 Quote Landing Page and a Full Refresh from £1,750. It also offers hosting, local and technical SEO, branding, and an on-site lead-qualifying assistant it calls SiteConcierge.
The weak spot is proof. An examples page is linked, but the agency does not detail trade-specific case studies, so a prospective client has to judge the work from the live sites themselves.
2. Riley Marketing
Best for: Small trades firms wanting a complete lead system for one fixed fee
Riley Marketing, at rileymarketing.co.uk, sells what it calls a foundational growth system for a single monthly fee of £149 at the time of writing. The agency says that fee covers an SEO-focused website with service and location pages, Google Business Profile optimisation, Google review automation, missed call text back, and a CRM with lead status tracking and branded quote pages on the trade's own domain.
Two parts of the offer stand out against the rest of this list. The site is built up front before the client pays anything, with unlimited revisions, no setup fee and no notice period. And the review automation includes reactivating past customers, which for a plumber or electrician with years of completed jobs is often the fastest route to a stronger Google profile.
The business is founder-led. Tom Riley has ten years in search and lead generation, previously led organic growth at an insurtech, and has built and run his own lead generation websites. Clients deal with him directly. Published examples include a site for Anglia Decor, an industrial painting and roofing contractor, and SET Building & Brickwork, an Essex building firm. Google Ads, Meta ads and local SEO are available as add-ons.
The trades it lists are electricians, plumbers, heating engineers, roofers, builders, window and door fitters, decorators, landscapers, plasterers and kitchen fitters. For a firm of that size, the combination of a priced system, a working site before any money changes hands and founder access is a strong case, and the reasoning holds up without needing to oversell it.
3. Roofing SEO Services (SEO Consultancy Ltd)
Best for: Roofers who want one specialist and exclusivity in their town
Roofing SEO Services, trading from East Ham in London and founded by Dr M Mansoor Siddique, works only with roofers. Its monthly packages are published, from £499 up to £2,599 depending on local competition, with no setup fee.
The agency writes one roofer per town into its agreement, reports on booked jobs rather than traffic, and says its UK team does not subcontract. Contracts are rolling monthly on 30 days' notice and the client keeps all assets. It publishes anonymised roofing case studies on map pack and keyword rankings.
4. The Build Agency (Orbit Lead Generation)
Best for: Trades moving from domestic work into commercial tenders
The Build Agency in Maidstone, Kent, is the odd one out: its lead generation is cold email outreach to contracts and procurement managers, backed by social media, SEO, web design, a purpose-built CRM and photography.
It offers a 30-day guarantee to keep working for free until a genuine tender opportunity arrives, and publishes one case study for a plumbing contractor covering sales, tender pipeline and PQQs. Pricing is not published.
5. Leads 4 Local
Best for: London trades wanting a priced local SEO retainer
Leads 4 Local operates from Tooting with a South and South-West London focus. It says it specialises exclusively in local SEO for trades and service businesses, aiming for top-three Google Maps positions within months, and publishes monthly tiers at £349, £599 and £999.
Services include Google Maps SEO, web design, reputation management, PPC, citations and schema. There are no published case studies, and its client list includes dentists, estate agents and restaurants alongside roofers, plumbers and electricians.
6. Digital 4 Trades
Best for: North West tradespeople who want a small team without rental contracts
Digital 4 Trades lists an address at Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool, and describes itself as a small in-house team with the line 'you stay on the tools, we do the marketing'. It offers web design, branding, SEO, social media, lead generation and Google Ads for electricians, plumbers, roofers, joiners, locksmiths, heating engineers, garden services and groundworkers.
The agency says it has no lock-in rental contracts and will not hold a website hostage. Websites are bought outright or paid over about a year, with content management from a couple of hundred pounds a month. Case studies cover a roofing firm and a taxi firm.
7. Websites 4 Trades
Best for: Sole traders who want the cheapest credible pay-monthly site
Founded in 2021 by Carl Hancock, whose background runs from plastering and labouring to growing and selling a carpet cleaning business, Websites 4 Trades charges a flat £30 per month with no upfront cost. The client buys their own domain.
The standard package includes build, hosting, maintenance and unlimited changes, with SEO and logo design as extras. There are no written case studies, but a client logo wall links to live sites across roofing, plumbing and cleaning. We profile the firm in more depth in our Websites 4 Trades piece.
8. Market Maestro
Best for: Contractors chasing £50k-plus commercial contracts via LinkedIn
Market Maestro is a LinkedIn-led B2B agency for construction firms, with published monthly starting prices of £850 for LinkedIn outreach and £1,100 for wider management. Clients approve all content, and the agency describes a four-stage 'Hi-Vis Method'.
Its one published case study is a decorating contractor that tendered for and won commercial work. For a domestic sole trader it is the wrong tool entirely, which is why it sits last here despite publishing its prices.

Which one fits your business
If you are a sole trader with no website, Websites 4 Trades or Riley Marketing are the two cheapest routes in, and Riley adds reviews, text back and a CRM for the extra £119 a month. If you have a site that just needs to be faster, Foresite Design's packs are priced for exactly that.
Roofers with budget and a competitive postcode have a dedicated specialist in Roofing SEO Services. Anyone wanting to leave domestic work behind should look at The Build Agency or Market Maestro rather than any of the others.
Whatever you pick, read how to read an agency case study first, and ask what the agency means when it says qualified lead.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the biggest trades agencies not in this ranking?
Firms such as One Base Media and JDR Group are covered in our regional and pricing rankings. This list concentrates on agencies priced for one and two-van businesses.
Which of these agencies publish their prices?
Foresite Design, Riley Marketing, Roofing SEO Services, Leads 4 Local, Websites 4 Trades and Market Maestro all show prices on their sites. Digital 4 Trades gives an indication and The Build Agency does not publish.
Is a cheaper agency always a worse one?
Not on this evidence. The two lowest-priced offers here, Websites 4 Trades at £30 and Riley Marketing at £149, are both trades-only and both show live client work.
How did you verify the information?
Every claim comes from the agency's own website at the time of writing. Where an agency does not publish a detail, such as its founder or price, we have said so.
